Higgins Beach is just one of four beaches in Scarborough, Maine. The water is freezing cold but it is very refreshing on a warm summer day. It is never too packed and it is filled with locals as well as vacationers. Higgins is also very personal because of its smaller size, only taking about 15 minutes to walk from one end to the other. The day that this picture was taken was rainy in the morning but turned out to be a beautiful mid-70’s day. The only problem is that parking can be tough as there are a limited number of spots and certain days can be crazy. Definitely recommend heading to this beach if you are in the area.
